Thanks everyone. I very nearly didn't enter this. I was so hurried and didn't think it would amount to much...just so long as I didn't come last (I don't need anymore brown ribbons.) I entered it for the dpc olympic aussie team.
So it's a really big thrill for me to finish so well.
Thanks for all the kind comments during and after.

Hi Naomi...I have been away a few days in Brisbane, and I just got home and saw this...how sensational! How well deserved! Congratulations...See you at the next DPC Connect group! You'll have to tell us all about it...Enzo
Wow! I'm sure glad you DID enter it. It is amazing. Usually negative images don't look like you could ever use them for much of anything else but a negative image challenge -- but this one looks like very awesome art! Congratulations on a very well-deserved ribbon!
lol .. you did HEAPS better than you expected .. !!
definitely went out with a big finish ..
CONGRATULATIONS NAOMI .. a stunning photograph/process and a great place in the challenge .. :)
This is very cool looking. I love the clarity of the notes and all the other fine details on the mask. This looks like it belongs on a program cover. Very nice. Good luck!
bloody brilliant .. a fantastic photograph and converted so well to negative image .. well done naomi .. i'm not voting and i'm not sure if this will register without a vote .. but just wanted to say .. BRILLIANT . !!!:)
one of the most striking shots in the challenge. also one of the very few shots where the "negative" effects actually adds to the shot. a podium worthy for sure. 10
