It take a few second to regiter the bee in the photo which liekly didn't go well with those who vote faster. for my part I think the image is too busy and lack simplicity especially when inverting the image. I think this is probably a pretty decent positive image though.
I think what kept your image from scoring higher was that the bee gets lost in the business of the image. I would have cropped off the flowers on the extreme left, right up to the next row. The colors are details were all executed well.
