I had a lot of fun with this one. Took at bunch of Pez that glowed in the dark and photographed them with no flash and low ISO. This was one of the first shots, the Alien "fake" Pez head is sitting on a glow-in-dark glass. I just like the way it looks like an alien is emerging from an alien pod or something, hence the title.

Sometimes silly works, sometimes it doesn't. This is a case of when it doesn't. The digital noise is so much so that it appears as though jpeg compression artefacts from upsizing a small image. I find the tilt and angle a little disconcerting too.
I wish I could see what it was he was emerging from. I normally don't like that much grain but it's perfect for this photo, although maybe not quite *as much* grain.
