This photo was taken during a tour one hour outside of Abuja, Nigeria in a typical Nigerian village market after we obtained permission to enter the market from the tribal chief and his delegates. After the photo was taken the woman asked if she would disappear or if something would happen to her. I assured her that she would be fine and purchased two beautiful hand made cloths from her.

This lady is managing to look flirty even under that load. Bully for her. This is a good picture, which shows the brilliant colours that look so good in the African sun.

Though quiet a busy picture I'm glad you decided to shoot it with a deep DOF as this market is very interesting. Colors and tones are equisite and rich and I like the way the image is composed, as you can see clearly the 4 major people in the photo, as noe of them have been blocked out by the main subject. Only neg I can see is that you cut off the load on the top of her head. A very interesting Nat'l Geo type picture. Well done.
