The focus is just not strong enough for me to score this real high. Very cool location however, I imagine I will be seeing some great shots from this spot in future challenges!

Great idea leading the eye through the center of the photo like that. If you want to make it a GREAT phot: add a person walking to tell a story, fix the focus to be perfectly crisp and get rid of some of that sky. I would find a place where the trees are scattered out a bit more to make it less complex and your time to take a great shot like this is either EARLY morning or DUSK. You are onto something very good here though. Keep it up.

Good use of leading lines. This image is a bit "flat" though it needs more contrast.

Try putting a figure in the distance in shots like these to give a sense of scale. Also - colours are slightly flat :( Bit more saturation?
