Superb colour – you can almost feel the alcohol punching you in the face. Great use of DOF. I quite like the composition, but I think that the unintentional diagonal line in the bottom left draws the attention away from the central subject. A completely black background – I feel – would have focused more power onto the centre of the glass turning a really great shot into a bombshell… (8)
Nice sharpness and color to the liquid, but I don't like the bright spot toward the bottom, and I think you should have either been a bit closer to the glass, without seeing the stem, or farther away seeing more stem, because the amount shown doesn't seem quite right.
