A little more thought and effort could go into this, also the image really does not display anything out of place, you have books on a shelf and a book end.
I enjoyed this photo as a stand-alone image. I can't offer you much of a critique since you have not explained your intent in the photographer's comments.

added: i read the title. still books and a bookend. If you are trtying to tie hostility and a lion's ability to be hostile or violent, i get that. not out of place, but i get that (if you intended something else, i didn;t get that)
