Wow, nice to see that some people really do take constructive comments on board - I really like the edits you've done post-challenge. Congrats again on an excellent entry.
Thank you for all of your comments!! The main reason I joined this website was to improve on my photography skills and share ideas with other like minded individuals. As I read each of your comments over the week, I decided I would implement some of the suggestions to see how they work.
Here they are:
kali and krnodil requested a portrait orientation.
jason_cross requested I fix the head alignment and see it in black and white.
Other comments that I couldn't accommodate at this time were adding hands and using a different DOF on the feet. I really wish I would have used hands as well. I may re-shoot this with hands for my personal use.
By the way, I really like the way the portrait version looks. Can we do this challenge over? :)
Oh wow, this is definatly my winner!!
Didn't see anyone meet the challenge as well as you did, youhave 3 body parts, incredible angle love love love <3
This is very creative. I think would distracts me just a little bit is the crop, and the head not being centered in between the knees. Other than that cool idea well done. Have you thought about converting this to black and white?
This is a really cool idea, and well done - as a personal preference, I find myself wanting to see this shot in portrait orientation, head-to-toe, top-to-bottom. Either way, it makes for an arresting image.
Nice image - Like the creativity here - Well done. Also like the lighting and ears. Well done. One more element to balance out the side could have been hands?
I just love this as a concept and think the composition is outstanding. For my own tastes I would have prefered a slight deeper dof to sharpen up the feet and knees slightly. Still a wonderful take on the challenge
