At first, I didn't quite get this, but after coming back to it, I think I do. I generally don't like it when the focal point is smack dab in the middle (unless the entire image is in in focus), but this one is growing on me.
This is a good photo, but I am not in love with the lighting. It looks nice and I really don't have any specific criticism I just don't love the lighting. 7
I like your point of focus, and choice of black and white with contrast- this image captured me as a thumbnail and keeps capturing me each time i glance over the thumbnails- its beautifully done, and still somehow subtle this is one of my 10's
