I saw this girl begging for money on a busy street in central Athens. She had a much older way about her than her age. I took a few shots of her and liked this one the most. There were some which I'll post later which were sharp but I liked the out of focus one best to further bring home that so many peoplle just walked past her without looking. There was no set up, just a candid and , wanted to get her in amongst the people walking by. I sharpened converted to BW, and boosted the conrtast, if I remember correctly

The way you made the subject slightly out of focus is completely perfect. I love how plain it is that she she is still the subject here, thanks to the fact that the composition leads the eyes right to her. It enhances the "invisible" concept so strongly that the viewer could probably get that impression even without the title. Bravo.
I like this picture a lot! I would have liked to see the girl a little more sharper. Then again, that may have taken away from your message. Awesome job!
I love your concept and I think the shot is fantastic but I'm not believing the girl. I don't know if you posed her or just found her really there but I think it would have been a much stronger shot if she looked "more homeless". Just my two cents, nice job.
This has some impact. Is the focus on her face a little soft? I know it's tough to shoot candids sometimes...especially when they know you're shooting. Black and white is a good choice for this. 7.
