Not having spent very much time in the US (and mostly away from the big cities), it seems to me that whenever I see a picture of a "homeless veteran", they always have a long greyish beard. I suppose it's some kind of uniform for them....
And I wonder, at what stage do they change from "homeless novice" to "homeless veteran"?
