this is a wasp i photographed yesterday on the firetrail, hanging upside down from the nest ..
i've combined the wasp with a photograph of a spider on his web, also taken on the firetrail .. added a grungy border ..
check out comments on the border .. from colleen cgino
Well you've managed to show us either the spider's worst nightmare or her greatest food fantasy. Either way you have become an astounding artist. This is really fantastic work.
What a great way to start another side challenge, Roz. You are the master of combining images to make them into so much more than they are on their own.
This reminds me of "Aliens vs. Predator". Two very creepy things pitted against each other.
So cool, love the processing... it's amazing what you do with these images you take. And I TOTALLY hate (a) spiders and (b) wasps. Wonderfully done, I want to look :)
Oh Roz! This is so magnificently you! I am so looking forward to a month of your amazing photos and beautiful editing inspiration. The detail and colors on this are beyond belief!!!
Looks like the spider has the upper hand!!
Looking forward to not only your images, but also your comments that you put on them. Always entertaining and informative!! : )
Roz I really missed having daily contact with you and the constant amazement and inspirations your images give me looking forward to another month hanging out with you :D BTW killer image!
Roz - well done for getting your first image in - it's a CORKER!
I love the rich colours.
It's a really sinister image (sort of - GRIN!) - I'm not sure which the lesser of two evils are, who do I want to hang out with? Wasp - Spider? Neither - GRIN!
