I like the framing of this image, but I find the black outer frame almost oppressive, although it does enhance the light and colour of the view.

I love the "framing" achieved by shooting this the way you did. It gives a very distant feel. Like you can almost get to the beach, but can't. Also, the darkness in the front adds emphasis to the cool blues.

I love how this was shot! Nice job. I like how the black frames the blue water and sky. The window really pulls you in, making you wonder what else is out there. The shadows on the ledge also add an interesting element.
