Try something a little different..wrapped a Shure Microphone in Red Paper...moved the light around.... the curves are there in the MIC Grill.

very striking image, love the composition and intensity of the color. Once comment though is that you may have pushed the processing a little bit (curves??) you are getting some pixelation on the metal parts
