With no Opera House and Harbor bridges with Natural design curves, decided to create a curve design for the challenge, the fruit bowl has good curves, with the pair seemed to require another element so added the Iris and vase, this appeared to add depth to the image.Lighting is a spot from the left with flash -2/3.

Excellent work Brian - very well set up with the placement of the items in the still life, good lighting, nice subdued color, and I really like what you did with the border - adds a lovely balance to the presentation.
Wow I love this one Brian and what a clever idea you have with this one as I love the border..... Great result for something a little differant and so pleasing to the eye.....
I don't like that I can see the texture of the wall. Also the top of the wall is so blue to th epoint that it kinda hurts my eyes. I do like the off centered border though. but I wish the pear were colored differently, it just doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the pictue.
