I love this shot because even though it is of the same subject as your curves image it tells a different story
The sharpness of the strings is great and has a strong 3d effect, although the fact that there is one missing makes me feel slightly melancholic

This is a beautiful old instrument and you have captured it well both here and in the Curves challenge. Do you still play? I mean on one with more strings....
I will say that I liked the processing on the curves photo better. On this one I love the angle and the lighting. Interesting that it's missing a string too. Looks like a beautiful instrument!
