This shot puzzles the hell out of me. After a few moments of study I see a sepia toned image of objects I cannot recognise. evocative with nice tones but it leavs so many questions unanswered, such as, where is the orange? What is that drawing of? What are those objects? Interesting but not satisfying.
Found a picture worse than mine! Actually the little scrible on the wall is somewhat interesting. I don't want to be interested by it.. but I am anyway. *shrug*
Perhaps it's because I view this as defiance against the rules. But ya still get a 1. :-P
Purple...? You title really throws me off... Was the G originally written in purple? It's also brown, and not orange. I really can't tell what those things are on the table and that bothers me. I like the shadow and fading effect, but the overexposed left side and the background which doesn't meet at the back (and the fold in it) are distracting. Score: 4
What I see here is an image that looks like it was sepia toned and I'm stretching to say it may have an orange tone. Compositionally it is interesting and certainly abstract, to me at least; I have no clue as to what it could be or it's significance. I didn't take away full marks for colour. 3
