Refreshing! I was watching some Russians doing this at C0oney Island last weekend and wondering whether they might have sniffed a vodka or two before taking the plunge. I remember swimming in the sea of northern China during the winter. The sea was frozen and had ice flows. It was like swimming in razor blades. Refreshing!
