I knew i would get these type of comments. Unfortunetly poor Becca was trying to keep her son from running into the street! He was constantly moving and the best i could do was soften the focus and hope for the best (i think i did pretty well considering this was my first challenge)

Perhaps a bit to artsy for some here, but I think you did a wonderful job with this photo. The soft focus and the close crop work very well in portraying the sense of intimacy. My only objection is with the border. It is too bold and wide. It gives a rough edge to an otherwise soft moment.
I think this close crop might have worked better with a sharper focus. For a soft focus shot this is very soft - too soft for me. I really like what you were trying to execute, though.
