I saw the roadworkers painting the characters on the road a couple of weeks ago. It says to ma re, STOP. However, the road isn't finished - it still needs a bridge. Where the fence ends is a drop of a metre or so, then a short gravel bit where the little truck is parked, and then a river. It will be long time before this bit of road is being used. (But behind me is a new linking road which will cut my trip to school by a few hundred metres. ;-Þ)
Very orderly and symmetric. The road is so new and so bright against the surrounding landscape, and the colors and forms so meticulous, that it makes for an interesting image.
Every little bit helps, right? Very nice composition using rule of thirds as well as leading lines to take my eye through the shot front to back. Beautiful sky with a colorful foreground. Great photo.
