The furniture coming in at the top right along with the cropping off of the ear and paws moves this shot into the realm of snapshot for me. I think the concept of this photo is ideal - I just wish it was more composed for the purpose of photography.

The focus seems too soft to me here... and there are distracting things in the image around the edges.

The lighting isnt very good, and its also OOF. I think the composition could have been a little better too.

the cloth at the top of the image as well as the edge of the table is a distracting. The composition and focus needs work.
