 Nothing fency, just the right light in the correct time.
Post processing:
Added Sat and Contrast on Lightroom, then used Nik Color Efex 3 on the whole image.

This image doesn't say 'intimacy' to me... seems like you took a photo and tried to come up with a title to make it fit the challenge, instead of the other way around.
Nice colors, though the focus seems soft.

Intimacy? How does this meet the challenge. Nice use of color. The flower could use a little more depth of field, but you have nicely limited the background.
