The very nature of the location is under the intense sun. The sun is an integral part of any landscape photo of this location, I think. I find all of the photos in this 'hike series' interesting, partly because I see rocks and am trained in geology, partly because I like to see parts of the world that are exotic to me. The HDR system you used to develop the photos is gentle and discreet. I think it works rather well to ensure detail in shadows without making the picture look weird. Hope to see more such work. |
