 I took some pencils,threw it on the floor and took couple of photos. Then I changed the pencils location and moved them back and forth until I was satisfied. I also had a little lamp above the pencils.

thanks for the comments...but I really disagree with "Quickshutter", he said that the pencils were yellow...are you colourblind!!!

Nice use of DOF, but lighting is just a bit too harsh for me. Think I'd have gone just a little softer.

I love pencils, but I don't think the advertising adds anything to this.

The color is good, the light is good (few shadows distract) but the photo is not complete..it feels half finished. Also the one pencil's text is cut off.
