 Held the camera myself- quite a challenge : )
Highlited & darken a few things-
black & white helped with skin tone issues.

I think all the comments are right on!
However--- my thinking was that she had a very content look
on her face. (she was almost asleep) Guess that didn't translate. : )
Did better on this one than the last one though!

Eyes!!! To truly show intimacy, you need to let the viewer see the subjects eyes for that is where intimacy resides.

The lighting is pretty harsh and flattens out the image.

This is a great capture of family intimacy. Close crop is nice. One thing that could have made it even better is if the daughter's expression looked a little happier. This expression make her look a little like she's had one too many pictures taken. Great shot that resonates with me because we have a 7 year old daughter and do the same every night... of course I didn't think to capture it on film, so great work!

Such a lovely idea: i think your flash has let you down... voters are not kind to flash photography... nice triptych in a way.
