Don't come around here no more
Don't come around here no more
Whatever you're looking for
Hey, don't come around here no more
I don't feel you anymore
you darken my door
Whatever you're looking for
Hey, don't come around here no more
I've given up, I've given up
I've given up, you tangle my emotions
I've given up, honey please admit it's over
Stop walking down my street
Who do you expect to meet?
Whatever you're looking for
Hey, don't come around here no more
-Tom Petty

This is where my Grannie lived
In this dusky damp old house
Always snappin pole beans
Or chasing some wild mouse
Most of her days were busy
Busy fixin meals
Rockin in her metal chair
Searching want ads for a deal
Poppa worked his strength away
Churning up the ground
Planting tobacco for the smokers
Who always came to town
Son and daughter have moved away
To bigger brighter things
No grandkids come to visit
Empty sits the swing
This is all there seems to be
Left of as we age
Going through the motions
Turn another page
Their youth is far behind them
Whats left is almost gone
Closing of a chapter
They sing another song
Days are coming quicker
They hold-out another night
Waiting for the sunrise
Awake at dawns first light
-Kelly Brannon

Just the title - let alone all the lyrics - are so perfect for this image that it blows my mind. Excellent work.

We must like the same music ;~) Perfect lyrics for that photo. It is hauntingly sad.
