I used my digital camera on automatic settings on a ten second timer to take this picture of myself. Its a bit pixely but i'm still learning how to rectify this - its difficult in dark settings with this type of camera.
I then cropped and enlarged the picture, used noise reduction and played with the brightness and contrast.

Oh well, it was my first try. I guess what i learnt is that if you are going to try and stretch the topic then you really need to come up with a more fitting title. I didn't think that the picture was disturbing, it was supposed to be a look at one girls intimate thoughts - which as far as im aware don't have to be sexual.
I do agree with the grainy pixelated comments and i want to try and work on this. I guess it just takes practice
this would be the perfect picture if it dident have so much grain, seriously, i absolutly love this but the amountof grain makes it look like its from a cell phone and streched out.so ill give it a 6 if the grain were lower it would be a 10
The title doesn't give me an 'intimacy' feel (but no points off for a bad title)... the crop is a bit tight. Her hands look unnatural... like they're claws or something. Sorry.
There is just no intimacy in this shot IMO. As far as the image itself, it's an interesting shot, but I dont like the way her hands look in her hair. It makes them look very strange.
