Okay so I went out and shot this same shot when the sky was bright blue got home and realized that I was shooting at 1600ISO ewwww noisy! Sooooooooooo out I went again to shoot it and the clouds had rolled which gave it a more gloomy feel to it that matched the fence much nicer.

i love this shot of yours. i really abmire the angle you lined up for it. reading your caption i would have to agree with you that the gloomy sky seem to fit the frnce better. it would have the same feel with a blue sky. but i think it would be intristing to see them side by side. great photo and nice job.
