Good attempt at holding the fence theme by having the fence in sharp focus and the background OOF. Maybe boost contrast a bit as the shoot seems a bit flat.

I like the scene a lot but the light looks flat - looks like it was taken in mid day sun, which is always difficult.

Personally I think I would have stood slightly to the left so that the building wasn't partly behind the fence post.

Good dof, keeps the eye on the fence. We know what is in the background, but the selective focus keeps our attention where YOU put it.
