Wonderful image! The lighting is perfect, composition is inspiring. I never would have thought to put person in a shot like this, but it really pulls it all together and no doubt helped to make it stand out from the other landscapes. This is a fave for me!
(p.s. my family moved to Canada from Rocca San Giovanni in Chieti in the late 1930's, I would love to visit my relatives there sometime. Way farther south than where this was taken, but still on the Adriatic side)
one of my top picks in the challenge. the sky is dark and adds great contrast to the clouds; however the far right cloud just doesn't do it for me, so you'll have to settle for a 9
nice submission, only problem I see is the footprints in the snow where you walked for setup, a different crop might have fixed that but then again it might have taken away from the shot
