I like the shallow DOF to focus attention on the pollution. But the tilt may be more distraction than help.

Simple/Effective.this is excellent use of DOF,great tilt too! the title is a bit much,i believe the image is strong enuff to carry a simpler more basic title,thats just me,lol,i dig this a lot,it could be used as an anti-pollution or anti-smoking image,good stuff...7

this photo has a high technical merit (cannot think of anything wrong with dof, exposure, composition) but does not hold viewers' attention for long, which makes it a 5 photo for me. some sort of interest in the background could have helped the photograph.

Nice shot, coincidently I was just reading today that cigarette butts are single worst product for litter. Each one of these is a little toxic pill for our wildlife. Great take on the challenge.
