I like the photo but not sure it fits the category very well. Maybe if the category was about smoke. These re-enactors had more pollution from their cars than from the black powder used in the battle.
*cough-cough*! I like this. My only quibble is the top of the cloud cut off like that seems almost like cutting off the top of a persons head in the frame.
I'm not sure if I like the fact you cannot see any faces, just everyones legs. I think if you shot from the side you would get faces, guns, and directional smoke which might be more interesting.
You caught a good moment there, nice job. I like how green and healthy the grass looks, illustrating how humans have always sullied our beautiful world.
hah! cool image.. I amost wish you'd captured one two people more closely in a more portrait-esque fashion.. Would have created interest with more details..
