This is by all means obtuse. Fact is, I was taking a peak at the municipal flowerbeds in the hopes of seeing some emergent crocus or other bud. No such luck, but then I saw this and though "weyhey" , why not give Spring the dominant role it deserves instead of the meekly apologetic...

I applaud you for the idea of having the flower come out of your hand instead of just sticking it in the snow somewhere like I would have! It is a different and bold look.

Incredible, unique, transformative image. In any other challenge, I would have given this a ribbon, but I already have three shots that absolutely demanded them. I still have a 10 left, though.
