This is very well composed, and I like the tonality. I hate to say it needs a little more "snap" contrast-wise, because that is cliche' and kind of a generic comment to make--but I might like to see it that way for grins. Well seen.

I liked the juxtaposition of the reading eyes with the eyes on the book. Just wondering if you tried sepia or leaving it in color?
