What luck. I was working on black background shots and this challenge was announced. I did clone out a line created by the setup. Basically shot and submitted. I did have to reposition the pine cones for a vertical orientation. Shot in my softbox with a black velvet background at the very back, a 250w light on the right side of the box, a black flag blocked the light from the back, the cones were placed on the top of a small book placed under the velvet, then the fork was upright and propped against the book but open to the background. A mirror was used to bounce light directly onto the tines of the fork and another flag blocked the light from the camera.

Funny! "15 Ways to Spruce up a Meal." Would be nicer still with a fancier fork and lower on the page. I'd like to see the fork in perspective to get a better sense of depth (like the pine cones).
