contrast to the background is missing ... too much post-processing color added (?) ... even the green stalk has an orange hue

nice shot. think I would have preferred to see more light from the right side so that the stalk is green instead of so dark.

very nice as far as "orange" is concerned, but it is not ok the composition; it's really disturbing what happens with the poor pepper...
too bad...i would have tried a different quadration for the subject...
