It'd be tough to add type around all the contrasting shapes, but the color, focus and exposure are quite good. The composition might be improved by cropping the neighboring petal off the left side. This would have likely scored higher in the Orange challenge!
Wow, very nice shot. Great variety of colours, excellent background. Imaginative composition. The butterfly is an interesting and effective subject. I love the textures here.
Only a true artist could execute this beautiful shot, this is a definite wow, how lucky you are that the colors on the wings of the moth are in complete harmony with the colors of the flower. 10
This is a beautiful shot but the magazine has a verticle format not a horizontal format... I'll bet this would have done excellent in the "Orange" challenge.
(I'm writing this to everyone who submitted a landscape shot) The challenge was to produce a shot worthy of a magazine cover but to me a shot like this is not suitable to be put on a "portrait" format magazine.
This is one of the best shots yet. The colours and sharpness are AMAZING. I'm going to give this a high ranking; however, ideally magazines need an image to be cropped vertically. Maybe this magazine is different. However, you may find your marks reflect this small point (it seemed to be an issue with the last magazine challenge).
