 the first snail I saw this year had to be my model... I took the shot with a macro lens, but had to use an adapter to fit it to my system, so there was no dialogue between camera and lens, no AF and no aperture details in the EXIF's...

How cute. I love the idea here. Your focus is nice and sharp - good details. DOF is perfect. I really wish I had one of these snails as a model.

This is very well done...Great title. I'm unsure how well this will do simply because there are so many quality entries. High marks for creativity. IMO the lighting is near perfect.
