A new shelter resident. We don't get many farm animals so this gal is something of a novelty. Very cooperative subject as she bobbed her head up and down trying to keep my attention. That's why her forelock is up in the air; she was in mid-bob.
I took this at quite an angle but then rotated some more because I wanted to be rid of a lot of the empty stall when I cropped. Boring negative space in this instance IMO. I think it's fun that the horse now looks straight (she wasn't at all) and the clue to the tilt is the lines made by the trim and doors on the barn. I made lots of triangles. We'll see if all that appeals to anyone ;-)
Gray day and mostly muted colors in the subject and background so this ain't exciting lightwise.
