I'm not familiar with the song, but I'm just commenting on the photo itself outside of the challenge.
The tones seem very red to me - low, indoor lighting that seems flat and unappealing for the skin tones.
I like the expression and the flower in the hair, but I don't like the angle and distortion from the lens. The crop just seems very cramped to me. The red checked table cloth or spread in the background seems to add nothing and is a distraction.
Ok...I hope I haven't been too harsh, but I am always honest in my comments so that when I say "great job" on something you can be assured I mean that too! I think the idea here has merit, but just needed a better execution.
I missed this in voting. You did a nice job of portraying a period of time that I grew up in. The very wide angle lens setting makes for an interesting composition/perspective, bringing your face to the front of the interest in the image.
The classical guitar seems a little out of place for a Zep thing. It's a good prop for the challenge anyway, as most people would not know the difference.
The flower in her hair is a nice touch, and her expression helps, but even with the stand up guitar this photo doesn't make me think of LedZep, or the girl in Going to California.
