Quite a bit of tweaking with basic adjustments.

This would have fared well in the recent trees challenge. Interesting how the trees can sometimes resemble our nervous and circulatory systems, arteries, veins and branching off into capillaries.

I like your choice of composition, with the tree trunk coming into frame from the bottom left. It is a great silohoutte. (I really wish we had spell check on here...)

For a photo to score well here at DPC, there has to be "pop" to the entry. This is just a snap-shot level silhouette photo of a tree.

In my opinion, this is just beautiful picture...notice, I said beautiful. The angle of shot is nothing new, however.
