Challenge: Black and White in Color II (Advanced Editing VII*)
Camera: Canon EOS-350D Rebel XT
Lens: Sigma 30mm f/1.4 EX DC HSM for Canon
Location: DLo Mississippi
Date: Feb 23, 2008
Aperture: 8
ISO: 400
Shutter: 1/250
Galleries: Portraiture, Photojournalism
Date Uploaded: Feb 26, 2008

This is my oldest daughter Morgan. The building is the backside of the DLo community center in Mississippi. I processed this twice from the same RAW file with two different white balances to correct skin tones. I also dodged and burned the stairs wall and Morgan's dress to give the building more character and boost overall contrast.

Well, gosh! I thought this would score much higher because it's inventive and cute.
One you can be proud of, for sure.

This is a fun picture :-) Love the hair hanging down and the spots on the skirt echoing the spots on the stairs.
