Not glamorous, but indicative of his sweet nature. Actually he looks a lot like a wolf; actually not our pet, but we took care of him for a little while; and actually not a portrait, but a lucky capture when he was still for a moment.
Curves and colour adjustments; some smudging, mainly to get rid of a fetching drop of drool; USM, glow and sharpening after downsizing. Possibly overdid USM - still learning - but I wanted to bring out the eyes.
Post: this did better than I expected, though it was certainly a tough challenge. Appreciate all the comments - he IS such a sweet and friendly dog.

He really does have a sweet face. I wouldn't mind seeing how this would look if you cropped off the left side and put more framing emphasis on his face. He looks like he is either getting ready to speak or give a big kiss lol - very cute!
What a big sweetie, you definitely have his attention for this portrait. The DOF on the background is awesome, looks like a painting, however I'd like to see the green a little de-saturated, eventually takes the eye away from the subject.
8 - Nice character capture of Willie - he looks like a good boy. Background is a little funky upper left, but does kind of add to the portrait in a way. Wish he were a bit more 'up' in the frame. Up to 8 from 7.
