The Image: Food makes a great model as it is willing, still and you can devour it when finished! Decided to go for food, which I love shooting, but I never seem to do well in the scores department. Window light...simple.
The Edit: Just basic stuff really.
Prediction: If I get 6.1, I won't be far off...hoping for 6.3
Post: a bit disappointed with the end result. My prediction was way off...think I will give food photography a miss for a while :)

Bah - keep shooting food. You're good at it! I want to climb into the computer and eat your entry. :) You probably just got dinged for daring to have something other than red in the image.
I really, really like this one, but I had to work out what was bothering me about it and I think it's that it looks very appetizing and yet the stem seems to be the focal point (not very appetizing). I still scored it high as I love the quality.
I can imagine this is Enzo's work. great food shot, looks fresh and tasty. good DOF, though I had preferred the focus a tad more in front. 1 or 2 complete basilico leaves would have been a nice touch
