An alternate to my submission, captured and processed 1 minute too late for the deadline. :( In one sense, this was the shot I was really going for - the feather just before landing. On the other hand, the quality of the image of the feather in the submitted shot was much cleaner. Posting this for thoughts/opinions: is this better overall because it matches the title (and challenge) better, or does the quality of the submitted image make it the better photograph?
I love 'em both, but you got the right one into the contest. That's rare. Usually the unsubmitted photo is the better of the two! Just MHO, of course...
