Almost a year later and I finally decided to leap into a challenge. Caught this shot while visiting Buenos Aries. No layers or anything (still trying to understand all that) but did crop to reduce some distractive clutter and a little dash of 'spot' remover.

Nicely posed and exposed, but the background is too distracting for me and detracts, rather than adds to the image. If context was what you were going for, perhaps a little more of the dancers surroundings would have worked better.
I've come back to this shot a number of times before commenting. I really like the pose, the lines of the dancers. I can't fully put my finger on it, but I find the two tone background does not compliment the shot - for me anyway. I find the panel/mailbox and downspout to distract my eye from the woman.
