This is a freaking amazing picture. Probably my second favorite in the group. But the other entries have a more powerful display of "parallel" in my opinion. I'm still giving it a 9 because I want to. :)
This is a wonderful picture and I don't think I could fault it if I wanted to.... and I don't. The log, with paches of green moss, the texture of the red legs, and faces and bills couldn't be bettered. The slightly ruffled feathers of the upper one relieve and possiblity (remote) of sameness. I think this is as good as it gets.
Pity you couldn't get the second bird in focus. Also I would have cropped it just above the second bird. Otherwise brilliant. The photo makes me feel like dancing. Well done. I give it a 9
These are among my favorite birds. I love these guys. They're so sneaky and peculiar. Good luck with this one. It's well shot and composed. I'm giving it a 9.
Great capture and very original interpretation of parallel lines.
Would like to see this cropped to include just the head and shoulders of both birds to see if it has even more impact ?
Good work..8
Lovely picture. The way the birds are holding their beaks parallel does add to the feeling of the picture. It's too bad the sky behind them wasn't a darker blue so they would show up more.
