 I wanted to experiment with overlays consisting of writing - preferably old writing.

I took this: (I used the unprocessed photo and just sharpened and brightened with levels - just too lazy to upload it.)

... and overlayed in grain merge blending mode with this:

you made me laugh ...
and greg heard me laughing and asked wot was so funny .. so we are now looking at this together .. he said .. 'how good's that' which is wot he says when he reckons something is pretty excellent ..
i love the tones .. the yellowy/brown and everything .. very clever my friend .. :)
