Ha, ha, ha. Last week such a low score for you and this week, you're right up there in the top 10! How the worm has turned. LOL. Anyway, well done (and a fine image to boot)! CJ
I love how this ship appears to come out of the mist. Very nice composition. However, that little bit of light at the tip of the ship's reflection - I wish it wasn't there. 8
Incredibly evocative. Strangers in the night and all that. Two ships that pass. I know there's only one but I am imagining myself on the other one. Kavey
Masterpiece… Awesome, breathtaking… (10+++++) This is a wonderful capture… It would fantastic blown up to poster size, framed and hanging on a off white wall…
Absolutely wonderful! I love the fog, and how the ship dissapears into it. The lighting conditions are perfect for the shot, and the reflection is clear and very obvious. This definately portrays a mood. Great shot. One of my 10's this week. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~
great composition and feeling for the challenge. very ghostly and tranquil at the same time..the mist cutting through the bow of the ship adds to the mood..(10)
Absolutely beautiful image. I really like the front end of this boats reflection. The mist is fantastic (well captured). The only small quiry I have is the sun in the upper left is a little overpowering, but that's life and we as people can't tell the sun where to go. But that's IMO. When I first saw this picture I immediately thought of the 'Titanic'. I admire your effort in capturing this beauty. Good luck with this weeks challenge :) 9
Meets challenge. Nice misty, moody feel. I don't understand what happened to the rest of the ship. Please excuse my ignorance.... I'm sure there's a perfectly good explanation.
This is a fantastic shot! The fog/haze really sets a mood for the shot. You know it will be ok soon though, because the sun will burn it all off :) Youv'e definitely met the challenge with this shot, and subject matter is very appealing to me. - 8 - JB
PHENOMENAL photograph... I can hear the foghorn in my mind... can't say much more about this shot.. I hope you are considering framing this shot... = 10 - setzler
