I really love the light but I don't understand why you left the stem in the picture. The real interest is in the flower and all the negative space makes me wonder why you kept it in there... Other than that, really beautiful shot

Oh...this is so nice. Such a unique take on the often photographed rose. The subtle lighting is really effective also...an intimate portrait of a bud.
